Alana Ring

Interior Designer

Alana has strong communication and presentation skills and takes pride in all her documentation drawings, material selection and FF&E scheduling. She also has a great eye for detail and a passion for discovering new products, trends and styles.

Alana received the DUX award at the University of Canberra in 2013 for the highest academic record in her cohort. The following year Alana moved to Bondi, Sydney to work as an Interior Designer in 2014. This position allowed Alana to gain tremendous experience in residential design and interior styling.

In 2016, Alana moved back to Canberra and became part of the Archertec Interiors team where she applied her learnings from her time in Sydney in her new role.  Alana enjoys working on small boutique-style restaurants, new homes and small office fit-outs and during her time with Archertec she gained valuable experience in residential, multi-residential, commercial, retail and hospitality.

In early 2018, that passion took Alana to Italy to attend the largest Interior Design trade fair in the world, Salone del Mobile in Milan, where she gained valuable insight into the latest bathroom and kitchen trends, furniture design, lighting and appliances.

Upon her return home, invigorated, inspired and excited to further her career in design, Alana joined SQCA/The Peppermint Room, where she has continued to apply and broaden her professional skills and experience.

When she is not designing, Alana enjoys time and adventures with her family and friends and her Ragdoll cat, Leo.
