Interior Designer, Graphic Artist

Jessica is a passionate and talented young professional. She is often the design professional responsible for her projects and draws on support as needed to complete the task. She has developed substantial experience in aged and heath care environments. In addition her graphic design skills are often called upon to deliver well resolved and elegant graphics and signage.

Jessica has contributed to The Peppermint Room’s success story since 2009 bringing interior and graphic design expertise to the team. Inspired by everything her eyes can see, Jessica loves developing ideas and concepts that work in spaces of any kind: education, retail, corporate, health care and aged care. She attributes project successes to the open communication that characterises the collaborative and relational efforts of The Peppermint Room design professionals, clients, builders, suppliers and consultants.

It’s always a good sign when a client re-engages you on the basis of a previous experience. This was the case for Jessica following her interior colour scheme and entrance graphics work at Hawker Primary School. The opportunity to complement and strengthen the original work with additional graphics to the Reception area was particularly satisfying for Jessica. To top things off, the color scheme was shortlisted in the Dulux Colour Awards.

Jessica’s love of the creative world kicked off many years ago when she was young. After many years of colouring, painting, drawing, dancing, acting and playing piano, a career in the design industry was the perfect fit.

Tim Burton, film director, producer, writer, animator and artist has long been Jessica’s design idol. She appreciates his quirky, original work and his ability to give form to dreams.

To get away from it all, Jessica loves spending time with family and friends particularly if it involves outings to the movies or theatre. Other than that, she’ll happily pull on her tap shoes and dance up a storm.
